Financial Planning Fundamentals Program
Build a practical foundation in personal finance management through our structured learning approach. Classes begin September 2025 in Wollongong.
What You'll Actually Learn
Most people leave school without understanding how to budget, save, or plan for retirement. That's a problem we're trying to fix.
Our program covers the essentials you need to manage money with confidence. We focus on Australian financial systems, so everything you learn applies directly to your life here.
- Creating realistic budgets that work with your actual income and expenses
- Understanding superannuation and making informed choices about your retirement savings
- Navigating tax basics, including deductions and understanding your tax return
- Setting up emergency funds and building savings habits that stick
- Comparing financial products like home loans, insurance, and investment accounts
- Recognizing financial risks and making decisions that protect your future
The course runs for 12 weeks with evening sessions twice per week. We keep class sizes small—around 15 people—so there's time for questions and real discussion.
Enquire About EnrolmentOur Teaching Philosophy
Financial literacy shouldn't be complicated or intimidating. But it often is, because most educational materials are written by people who've worked in finance for decades.
We take a different approach. Everything is explained in plain language, with examples from everyday situations. No jargon unless it's absolutely necessary—and when we use it, we explain what it means.
We also recognize that everyone's financial situation is different. What works for someone earning ,000 a year won't work for someone on ,000. Our program adapts to where you're starting from.
Practical First
Theory matters, but only if you can apply it. Every concept we teach connects to real-world decisions you'll need to make.
Judgment-Free Zone
Past financial mistakes don't define you. We focus on building skills moving forward, not dwelling on what went wrong.
Long-Term Mindset
Quick fixes rarely work with money. We teach sustainable habits that improve your financial health over years, not weeks.
